Two sheds, identified for poor pregnant women in Delhi

The Government of Delhi Delhi High Court Wednesday and told that it was referred to two exclusive screens for mizerstva?i pregnant women and lactating women.


The Court has ordered the Government last week to provide a facility within a week after the woman delivered baby pavement last year.

The Government will take some time to provide infrastructure in their homes, said the lawyer Added that the two NGOS, the Conference of the all India Christian Association for Womens and young women, are required to draw up criteria to admit women, and the period of their stay in these homes.


He said, the Government shall decide after consulting the Delhi urban shelter improvement Board and Department of women and child development.


A reply to its observations, the bench aligned Government or designate a person or agency to coordinate between the two homes.


The direction of the exclusive homes for pregnant and lactating women came after a report submitted by a lawyer appointed by the Court of justice.


The report said the existing shelter homes are not every Fund of the Government and not home was earmarked thereof to take care of mizerstva?i pregnant women.


Court earlier initiates of the newspaper reports that the woman died on pavement after giving birth to a child last year.


26 July 2010 a woman lying on the road for pedestrians Shankar market from busy commercial hub, Connaught place, New Delhi gave birth to a baby girl. The woman died four days later. The baby was rescued from a clothing store owner of the market.


With the intervention of the Court, the child was given a non-governmental organization.


The Court expressed concern over incident takes place even though various schemes for the welfare of the Government.
